Default Knock off hubs for Vette suspension?

Not bolt on adapters, I need true hubs with the pin drives. ERA makes them for their GT-40 ,which uses C-4 cartrige style bearings, but they don't sell parts. A coupla years ago there was a mention of an independant builder in N C (?) that made them. any help out there?

Bruce,
I know the Aurora cobras used vette hubs in the rear. Those cars had knockoffs. Not sure if they used an adapter or not.
Have you tried a Vette forum?

mr bruce,

did you think about making them?
the other day I calculated a bolt-on version, as the TRIGO.
it was quite affordable.

soon I make a plan to have one made to fit my existing (local south-african) front upright.

Contemporary used to make the rear one to fit the XJ axle from one piece.
their adapters and wheels sold for USD 4500 in the early 90s.

Dom

Bruce,

Are you sure ERA doesn't sell parts? I buy parts from them all the time....not hubs, mind you, but they do sell stuff. Just call Peter P.

My Aurora has knock off Dayton wire wheels that use a bolt on adapter that fits both the Corvette rear hub and the Ford front hub. The bolt on adapter looks like a bevel gear and the Dayton wheel has gear teeth that interlock with the hub teeth. Much stronger than pins or splines. I don't reccomend them - heavy - and knock offs are always more trouble than lugs.
