weber IDA reversing plates
I realize that I may be the only person in recent years to have this problem, but my intake mounted my 48 IDAs back to back; that is, all fuel lines on the outside. I could not get them to synch above idle( and neither could anyone else). Fine at idle, but as soon as the throttle was opened the driver's bank pulled more air than the passenger side. After working on this for a year and a half, and buying two linkage sets from Inglese, Mick Lauria casually mentioned that they made adapter plates that would allow me to mount the carbs any way I want. I now finally have what I'd always been trying to achieve-almost perfectly seamless acceleration from 1000-6500 RPM. The people I spoke to at Inglese couldn't give me an explanation as to why they never told me they made these things before, knowing very well what my problem was. Set of 8 plates 180.00
