I am in the process of fitting a drain to the cut-out in the rear wing where the Le Mans style fuel cap sits. This will allow water from rain or washing to drain off under the car rather than forming an annoying puddle.

I have a plastic plumbing fitting of the type that attached a hose to one end and has a male pipe thread on the other. I want to bond this fitting into the hole I have drilled in the body but what would be the best 'glue' to use?

Alternatives seem to be: fibreglass resin, filler, epoxy adhesive.

Any ideas?

Myself - I would use f/glass resin.....
