Hello Kelly!
Yes we sure did get a motel. A shower never felt so good! had another blowout on the way home on the other front tire. there was plenty of tread on both of them so I have to sum it up to the tires age. I bought that set of tires in 97. I dont do alot of driving in my truck as its only for work on the weekends if Im lucky enough to get any. then to make things worse my tire iron broke so I couldnt get the dang thing off! turns out I had other tools and I was able to finagle it off with a large crescent wrench and limp it to the next city where I bought another tire and another Alcoa rim. Pretty expensive trip all & all!!! But I am home and I am on my way to having a nassty ride once again! Im thinking since my windshield can only take around 160MPH i may as well change out them 2:73's and put in some 4:10's for a really sick ride! Ill still have a top end of 160 or so (Ive never been that fast anyway)
