Hawk 289 slab side Cobra
Is anyone familiar with the Hawk 289, as far as constructing one? I'm beginning to really consider this car as Gerry Hawkridge seems to be the only slab side builder that is interested in talking to me.
I would like to know how straight forward construction was and any problems encountered in construction. Dick Winn |

Thanks, I will. I may be confused, but I thought you only had an FIA. However, I was referring to NAF and JCF in my question.

289 slabside
I completed a Hawk slabside this summer, here in the UK. It's a high quality kit, with no obvious problems or weaknesses. OK, there's the usual amount of problem solving needed, but nothing that relates to problems with the kit or its parts. If you're used to working on cars, the job is pretty straightforward.
