Default need help with pistons?
I am building my 427SO and I need new pistons to fit the .017 overbore. I have always heard go with a forged piston but what next? are all forged pistons similar and good enough for an under 6500 rpm road race motor? Why is the cost so different? My builder wants to use JE but, my god, are those gold plated? What are some acceptable options? Thanks for you help.
