Default setting up a hydraulic throwout bearing

My clutch has worn out and needs replacing does anyone know how to setup the hydraulic throughout bearing. I used to have the instruction sheet but have lost it. any help would be appreciated

Take measurements off both the motor plate and bellhousing and make sure you have about 3-5 mm clearance between HTO and clutch fingers.

Note that you must limit the total throw of the bearing (by restricting the stroke of the master cylinder) so that it doesn't leave the mounting sleeve (and puke all the hydraulic fluid out).

I used this gauge that Speedway sells in setting up mine. Made it very simple:

are you replacing a old TOB or is this all new stuff >?

as mickmate referred to measure everything and make sure you have just a tick of clearance, depending on the master cyl, you might have to index the throw of the bearing as if the master is too large , you can over-travel the HTOB. A symptom of this is having the clutch release really high up on pedal travel.
