Front rotor wear

I have 4 piston front calipers on my ERA. I have about 1000 or so miles on the car and I am noticing the outer edge (first half inch) of the front driver-side rotor is wearing. It actually looks like it is cutting into the rotor a bit. I don't hear

or feel any grinding. Any thoughts on what I should do to solve the problem?

Check for loose wheel bearing

Sounds like you might have a composition problem with the pad. Pull it and turn the rotor and replace the pads ( both sides ).

That or your rotor has a craftmanship problem and the Iron/steel has a very soft spot/area in the rotor.

I jacked up the front end and when I spin the tire I definitely hear some brake drag. Here is a pic of the rotor...kind of looks worse in the pic than real life. There is no wear on the inner rotor surface.

I am going to pull the tire and check rotor runout. How should I check if the bearing are loose?
