Hyme joint play?

I have a three point rear suspention with hyme joints on the front of my lower control arms, What I am wondering is how much play if any should there be within the hyme joint itself? My control arm seems loose to me (about an 1/8 inch or more play? Or are my hyme joints just whore out?

There shouldn't be any noticable "Play" in the Hiem Joints. There are several makers, and several qualities. This is one application that you want the very best, do some research.

Shouldn't be any noticeable play in the heim joints. Replace them.

When you replace them, go adead and spend the extra bucks and purchase the aircraft quality joint. About 45.00 or so.
