Default Anyone have spare fake SPF knockoff hubs?

I have been doing some work on my SPF and when bleeding brakes the other day, I found out that I have broken one of the fake hubs for my SPF "knock off" fakeouts. Anyone know where to get them or does anyone have any extras? I have been told that SPF does not carry them any more, but have not confirmed that. This is the peice with the male threads that the spinner threads onto.

Thanks
Buzz

Buzz,
Aren't those just adapters to convert the 5 lug hub to pin drive? You should be able to get them from Vintage Wheels or Trigo.

nope, these are the incredibly cheezy fakies that came on the early SPF cars. With a plastic insert to cover the "real" wheel. Anyone who has seen them knows, but no...nothing functional, totally decorative and made to look like knock offs. In the AM, I will post a pic

Buzz,

Turk has a almost brand new set of six pin Trigo's with LN tires (BFG) for sale at a good price. I don't know wheather they include the adaptors or not.

Hey Clois! Good to hear from you. Well, after the initial investment of what I told the boss the new engine was gonna cost, then telling her about the extras, then telling her about the expenses of shipping and installation...I think doing the cheap thing right now will save the marriage. At some point, I definitely want to switch them over, but now is not the time, if you get me on this one. unless I want to live, sleep, eat and work in the thing. Do they have a special broadband internet adapter for a cobra?

I have been prepping everything for the new engine stab. Brett and I have been cleaning parts, painting what needs it, and gathering what we need to get started. We cleaned and flushed brake and clutch masters and bled both systems. (you would not believe what came out of the clutch side...looked like tar!) Unfortunately, I have such little time to get things done, it is slow going. We are ready to mate the trans to the motor and I think the install will seriously start next tues, after Indy. Brett and I both have that week off to get things done. I still will probably need to tap your skills on the new MSD box.

if no leads on this thread, call your SPF dealer...i believe they still offer a Knock off DELETE on their new cars , which then gives you the wheels you describe at a discounted price off of msrp . ..hence parts should still be available from spf or whoever their source was for them. i dont know who made those wheels for them. in the early days they were the stock wheels with knock offs' an option to the tune of about $2400. later they made k/o's standard and raised the roller price accordingly, but offering the k/o delete feature. bill

Clois the wheels that Turk has are the six pin wheels for knock off hubs. The SPF uses the 5 pin with an adapter.

OK, I got the pics in my photo folders. This is what I am looking for. I know how cheezy, but it is what I am stuck with for now and actually they don't look all that bad when they are on. They have fooled more than a couple people. If you have any of these, give me a call
