Default Yet another new member looking for Jag IRS advice.

Hello everyone,
I've rebuilt the center section and have everything just about together except I'm missing the two inner seal races for the hubs. they seem easy enough to turn out on a lathe but I dont want to get the OD wrong and burn up or have a leaky seal. Anyone have a couple of these laying around to sell or measure?

Yet another road block on this Jag rebuild - this thing better mesage my but while driving down the road for the time, money, and frustration I've put into it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Ben

Most auto parts stores carry the Jaguar races for the bearings as shown on the link above. I got mine from Autozone but Napa and other parts stores also carrry them.

Land Rover Parts | Jaguar Parts | Coventry West, Inc.
SNG Barratt - USA | Jaguar & Daimler classic parts, spares & accessories
Welsh Enterprises - New Jaguar Parts, Used Jaguar Parts and Accessories - XK120 - XK140 - XK150 - E-Type - MK - XJ6 - XJ8 - XJ - XK8 - XK - XJS - S-Type - X-Type - XF
I like Welsh as they sent me a DVD with their catalogs that hasn't been out of my computer since.
If I can get anything from RockAuto Auto Parts I shop there.
Oh and welcome aboard!

Thanks Bob,
I'll give it a try. I guess i thought of them more as a spacer for the half shaft and not something a parts store would carry. Its #3 on the hub parts list above which is a great help also. I went to Autozone for shocks a while back and im not sure the guy had ever heard of an IRS suspension. He tried correcting me a couple of times when I said I needed all four rear shocks i think I gave up and went home I'm not even close to being ready for them yet anyway.

Nick is right about Rock Auto, they are the best and lowest price for these bearings. I just bought a set a couple months ago and they were by far the cheapest and I had everything within a few days. My mistake, it wasn't Auto Zone I got the bearings/races from it was Rock Auto. This getting old stuff is.........
Don't know how I forgot about them.

Coventry West also has all of the Jag parts you will ever need and are great to deal with on Jag rear questions.
