Default Oval aircleaner

I got a deal on an oval dual four aircleaner .Now I need wingnuts or the like any suggestions?

I use nylon locking nuts.....with a 7/16 nut driver on my oval.

The oval aircleaner has the black wrinkle painted finish. The fasteners shown at Jegs or Summit don't show overal size. Will they fit in the rescessed pockets of the aircleaner? I'm height challenged so they can't protrude verry much.

Go to any parts store -- like Advance -- they have a rectangular "nut" for air cleaners that has a threaded hole in the bottom. Then you can eyeball the nut versus your "hole." I got a black one to match a black K & N filter assembly. You get the proper screw in the package and cut to length. Buy (or you probably have) another (plain) nut that fits the screw -- put it on before you cut and back it off after you cut it to remove the burr.
