Weber 48IDA Linkage
I just changed my linkage after much thought & tinkering with the original supplied linkage. The first pic is the original linkage with the passenger bank being pushed from the driver side carbs. The second pic is the bell crank setup which pushes both banks of carbs from the throttle linkage movement at a more even ratio. I decided to go a step further & put spacers under the bell crank to get the linkages a little more level with the craburetors throttle rods & also to attempt to get the set up as even as possible from bank to bank through the motion. Though this is still not 100% it is a vast improvement over the first setup. If you are thinking of purchasing webers in the future I would suggest this upgrade or another that will keep the carbs even throughout the range of motion or you will be fighting them forever!!!
