I've seen many of these types of systems, and they work well. However, you don't need to spend $400 to do it. I built my own alky-injection a couple years ago and ran it in my TurboCoupe. It probably cost around $60 to build.
If you want to vary the amount being injected with boost, you can just add a fuel pressure regulator.

I build turbo systems for a living. I like snow kits. Things have come along way since the days of making your own however. Most use adjustable pump speeds (pressures) , a map sensor for adjustable on pressures, adjustable ramp up options, etc.

I personally run nothing but snow kits, based on availabilty. Many of the makers simply can not deliver for soem period of time. I ve never had a problem with a snow kit. I run a dual nozzle on my deisel at 65 lbs of boost, a single on my turbo (gt76) ls1 camaro, and the same on the srt4, tta,t type, and a freind even has one on his turboed zx12r.
