Default Plastic Head Light Housing ?

I am about to install my headlights in my build. The plastic head light housing have (2) alainment screws per housing with a wire loom hole. How should they be clocked? Should they be (drive side 12:00 & 3:00) (pas side 12:00 & 9:00)? No direction came in the box.

instal the 6014 headlamp into the housing this will alow you to alighn the headlight so it looks right , then mark the headlight bucket mounting holes and instal. If you dont get the bucket right the headlight will be crooked.

the headlight bulbs should be marked top, that must go at the top of the housing, the bulbs are designed to shine one way, if you get them upside down, then you will be coon hunting while driving

So, let me get this straight. Put the head lights in the the plastic housing first, because they only fit one way? I will mark the position of the light on the plastic housing then remove the head light from the plastic housing and mount just the housing on the body. That does seem logical
Thanks

if we are talking about the plastic replica housings of the original metal lucas housings used on cobras mg's triumphs and all the rest yes. The standard 6014 headlamp has two bumps on the back allowing it to only fit into the housing one way, if the housing is not mounted into the body and clocked properly the lines in the headlight will be crooked. If we are talking about a diffrent type of headlight this may not apply.
