Default batteries for KMP tray

OK I have read quite a few threads on batteries here and now I am totally confused. The batteries currently dead in the car are gel type and say Guardian by Douglas Model DG 12-32 12 Volt 32.0 AM. Two i nline with upright posts. They are toast and need to be replaced. I hope this early car has what everyone calls the Kirkham tray. Where can I buy these batteries? If anyone has a suggestion for a more period correct quality set up I am all ears. Carb rebuilt and re jetted, Goodyears on, detailed undercarriage, Halibrand spinners not as bad as I thought really, some good batteries and I can start to polish her up and drive!!

I'm out of town tonight but if you don't have a satisfactory answer by tomorrow night, email me and I'll measure my tray and ID the batteries. If your tray is the same size as mine, you ought to be able to order batteries like mine from any number of sources.

Sporty,

Here is where I sourced my batteries for my Kirkham. They were model #UB12350 12 volt / 35.00 Amp Hour.

Good Luck!

I did get the new photos up - the files were too big so I wheeled out Photoshop and fixed them.

Sporty:

My batteries, as delivered from the Kirkham Wizardworks, are Werker WKA12-33J, 12V, 33Ah. Dimensions are 7 5/8" H, 5" W, 6" H. Obviously, the tray is 15 1/4" by 5".

Here's a link: http://72.14.253.104/search?q=cache:...&cd=1&ie=UTF-8

You might also try to order them from the Kirkhams.

I ended taking my Guardian by Douglas batteries down town San Diego and bought two new Discovery batteries. They were the exact dimensions in a 35 amp. They are completely Black and fit the tray perfectly. Thank you for the responses I wanted them today so I could continue sorting the car.
