I have a black Lokar cable that I will play with this week. I'll post some pics when finished. Im going to use a turkey pan so we'll see.

I don't know if I like that, there seems like too much moving near dizzy etc. There's a reason for a lot of conventions with this stuff!

Yeah, looks a little complicated. Now if I can just find the thread that I pulled these images from, I can read about the functioning of this setup.

Yeah, how does that function. Looks like the cable itself is stationary and the housing is moving over it?? Not sure if I like that

I've never really liked any throttle cable I've ever used, so for this build I decided to use a hard linkage. This linkage proved to be very smooth and linear, with no bind. And I think it looks kind of cool. All the parts were sourced from www.mcmaster.com except the lever arms, and I got those at www.midwestcontrol.com John

Like your set up.
Could you tell me alittle more.....are the rods 1/4" dia???
Do you remember the # from midwestcontrol for the lever arms???

OOOOOPS.... I just found them on their site.

The cross shaft is 3/8" as well as the female rod ends and shaft collars. The shaft collars are there to keep everything in alignment. The connecting links are 1/4", and I used a forged steel clevis at the throttle pedal end.
