M II power brake master cylinder
M II master cylinder started leaking. At first I thought it was one of the brake lines...so I replaced it. I was able to bleed the front brakes normally so I thought I had fixed the problem. All was fine until I took the car out for a test drive. By the time I got home I could smell the brake fluid again(it drips onto the header - not good!). There apears to be fluid leaking at the front brake line fitting.
If I could believe it I would think the MC was cracked or something.
Has anyone ever heard of this??
I guess the next step is to replace the MC but it is soooo hard to get at on my car. I have to go thru the side vent.
I think I'll also make an aluminum shield to keep the fluid away from the header just as a safety measure.
