radiator electrolysis?

i have 5k on my ffr roadster, my ron davis radiator developed a small pin hole on the top of one of the tubes on the inside, i pulled the radiator and took out a section of the cooling fins. i now know that nothing hit it so it is either a poor quality tube or possible electrolysis?. has any one else ever had any radiator problems like this?. we run howe radiators and afco radiators in my brother in laws circle track cars and never have had any trouble, i am trying to find out if it is a manafacturer problem or a problem associated to cobra's and the way we mount the radiators?.
