Electric Choke Adjustments
Just got the engine running, and it seems to work well and idle perfectly once it gets warm. (302 stroked to 347, high lift cam)
I have an electric choke on the Demon Carburetor and have read the adjustment instructions in the manual. They say that loosening the screw and turning the choke clockwise or anticlockwise will adjust the time that the choke is left open. There is nothing that says how long this time variance is from shortest to longest, and I wonder
a) Is this variable by other carb settings or by ambient temp/humidity etc., so it all becomes a matter of trial and error?
or
b) does anyone know the shortest and longest times at each end of the scale for one of these devices?
