Default will a vortex fit???

hey guy's got a friend with a kit from pigeon performance he's got a 302HO 1994 injected in there and he does'nt know a gas cap from a spark plug but me on the other hand am very mechanicly inclined and he wants more power after 3 years of acquaintance with this little beauty but not much weight since the balance is perfect so i suggested the vortec blower (56lbs at shipping) pritty decent for 3k and a hundred or so hp. Question is will it fit and what side of the engine does it go????????????? if someone could please get back to me on this i'd be forever greateful as this friend's upgrade will help me financially in getting my kit from streetbeasts (any feedback on those btw?) I cant wait !!

drix666, use the search button and type either vortec or supercharger. There have been a lot of posts (some with pictures) on the topic. You should do a search on streetbeasts while you are at it...and before you send them any money!

Two answers (as least some hints) ...
(1) Street Beasts is what used to be CMC, which is the car I have. The kit is actually quite good from a technical standpoint and beefier than most others. I really like that this car has horizontal steel bars running through the doors. But CMC's bad rep came from poor sales tactics and an idiot who started spreading bad press about them because he had personal issues with them and they would not advertise in his book. But I have no clue about Street Beasts as a company.

(2) I do have a Vortech on mine, and I don't know about pigeon, but on mine, I had to make a clearance "notch" on the inside of the hood (not visible on the outside of the hood).

See here... http://narwani.net/neil/cars/cobra_photos.html

Here's the hood "notch", just before the car was painted...

Cheers,
-Neil.

I believe the idiot cobra dude is talking about is Curt Scott, really helped alot of people, including myself with CMC. Streetbeasts is no different still using the same tactics and lies, ever look at their ad in hotrod? Highest resale of any kit, largest kit producer, please. Call the better business bureau in FL and ask, they have registered over 15 complaints already. research their kit, does not compare to the reputable guys out there.
