Default Ceramic Coating

I can get a real good deal on ceramic coating of my headers. Only problem, they can only do white and I want silver/chrome to match my side pipes. Is there a possibility of using a silver/chrome high temp paint (1200 degree) to spray over the white ceramic coating to get the look that I want.

Smile Ceramic

Your shop should be able to get gray.

We have a local body shop that does ceramic. He does not do the high polish silver anymore because it is so toxic. But he will do a gray that does not polish up like chrome. One of our local Cobra guys had his done in the gray and they look very good. I'm replacing my mufflers on my sidepipes and I'm going to get them recoated in gray. It does polish a little.

Dwight

I found a pic of Jack's sidepipes. They do polish a little.

Thanks for the input guys. Blittleton, I sent Aesthetic Finishers an email and if everything goes right I will be either taking my headers to them or will be shipping them out sometime in December. They told me a 2 week turn around is average. Looking at their web site, they will be done the right way the first time. Thanks!

Just curious...did they give you a price? I saw them at the London Cobra show and was going to give them a jingle also.

Default ceramic

I had www.performancekote.com do all my stuff in the silver. It still looks great after 2 years and definitley keeps the heat down. At the time they were 100.00 cheaper than jethot.
