I'd say he has a high volume pump and a standard pump driveshaft.

Tight clearances, big pump and weak shaft.

Weak shaft is the weak link.

Most would agree to run a gauge AND a light, both can't lie at the same time.

Yes, he still has a chance, although very slim.
