Spark Plug Wires, Webers, 289, Which?

So what I have is a mess, plain & simple. I put this set of wires on the motor when it had a 4bbl carb & it has never been right since the Webers went on the motor. I want to put new wires on the car & I want them to look "somewhat" original(They need to be re-routed, obviously. Too short to do so now). The 8.8 Taylors are fine, I could go that route again, but just wanted to see what others think. I see ford racing has black perfomance wires? I'm running MSD ign, if that matters to anyone. Any thoughts?
