The original style? weber intake for 289-302 engine. Four weber 48 IDA's
Duel water intakes! How was the water temp. requlated,
Sensor for water temp. guage?
Aquired a reproduction intake manifold. Assembling same.

The original style Weber intake manifolds had no provisions for regulating water temperature as the part was intended use was for all out racing. That being said the dual outlets created a slight restriction in the size of the two manifold outlets back to the radiator.
There are aftermarket companies that offer inline thermostats that can be adapted for use with this type of manifold, some are less obvious than others visually.

I run no thermostat, no issues
Did not get water temp off intake either
