2/16/03 is when this thread started. I just began where someone else left off, so how it got in small block is beyond me. I enjoy hearing how the names came to be, of course I like reading plates too...go figure

When I was an Aircraft Crew Chief in the Air Force, our crew named our plane "Juggernaut" - Unstoppable Force.

SIR REAL… I drove a Morgan +4 for years and got tired of “yes, it is a real one”, the driving experience is totally surreal, wind bugs, oil, in your face –simply, surreal! The Morgan being a proper British automobile begged for “SIR REAL”. When I bought the Cobra I just transferred the plates. Now I get even more “is it a real one”? I Will be changing the plate next time they are due.

Modified............My last car was a IMCA Modified. I always wanted to race so I bought a modified,(told the wife I would only race two years)I won rookie of the year the first year and the track championship the second year. Quiting racing was much harder than quiting smoking, I'm still quiting everyday. Oh well the wife likes the Cobra much better than the modified anyway.

I drove a 1967 Mustang GTA Fastback for eight years.Sold it three years ago to build my Cobra. My car goes in for paint in about two weeks. When I get to drive it,I will have fulfilled two dreams I've had since I was a kid.

Default 4pipes

The first time I used it, both my cars had four exhaust pipes.... a 550 and an M5.

It's more the car's identity than mine, Shelby GT350 with a Cross Boss.

New on this forum.

This is my first name, but as a Norweian it is a common name.

There are only 15 AC cobra's in Norway and not legal with kit cars. When mine got in to the country it was approved due to a mistake by the goverments (lucky me)

The car is a Unique 289 FIA (347 stroker from DSS racing with Paxton 93 supercharger and holley 950 commander FE)

Roar
