I guess my eyes are playing tricks on me, probably from looking at engine parts on ebay too long..

I HAD TO GO TO TWO DIFFERENT PAGES TO GET ALL THE INFORMATION ON THE TWO BEARING KITS. THEY COULD GIVE A BETTER DESCRIPTION.

Hey blykins;
Did you balanced them?

blykins 02-08-2004 02:14 PM

Yeah....the whole assembly was balanced....

My mechanic decied to built a 393w.Anybody can suggest me a stroker kits website.Thanks...

blykins 02-09-2004 12:26 PM

Try some of the advertisers that are on here:

Keith Craft
Southern Automotive

I got my stuff from Ford Performance Solutions....

www.f-p-s.com

Ford Racing also sells a 392ci stroker kit with Eagle components...I'm trying to find it now.

Do you think these crank and rods come balanced?Can i directly bolt them on?Or balancing cost extra money?

blykins 02-09-2004 12:44 PM

Ford Racing Part # : M-6013-B392

Even includes ARP bolts and Federal Mogul bearings....Eagle parts also....

Retails for $1495...you can probably get it at Jegs for a lot less.

V-8 02-09-2004 01:04 PM

Thanks guy ;) What are you thinking about my question?Can i directly bolt them on?

blykins 02-09-2004 01:50 PM

My guess is that you'll have to have them balanced, because it doesn't come in a kit with the pistons, rings, bearings, flywheel, etc.

Also, you'll want a shorter rod. A 6.200" rod is too long for a 392/393 stroker.

One more thing....you can find a better deal on a crank than that Scat. I wouldn't pay $810 for that....

I got a brand new Eagle forged crank 4340 steel...nitrided, cross-drilled and chamfered for just over $500.

V-8 02-09-2004 04:53 PM

Hey blykins ;
Can you prefer me a 393w combo, with part numbers please.

blykins 02-09-2004 05:00 PM

V-8.....I don't have the part numbers for everything....some of these things you'll just have to call and ask for. One of the advertisers that I mentioned up front would be able to help you out with anything or any question that you have. Or you could just call Jegs or Summit Racing and order the Ford Racing part # that I showed you. It's easy....

Go to : www.summitracing.com

Then click on manufacturer's part #. Then choose Ford Racing in the box.....and put in the part # that I typed above. It's $1371 and should ship by the 19th. You can order it there.

If your mechanic advises a 393, then why don't you just let him order the parts and deal with it?
