Default Best Carb for a 345 hp Ford Crate Engine?

What is the best carb for a 345 hp Ford Crate 302 Engine? I am thinking about 650 cfm or 600 cfm Holley 4150 Double Pumper with a electric choke. Before I bought one, I wanted to ask the forum.

I am running Weiland Stealth Dual Plane Manifold, a T-5 with a 2.95 first gear amd .68 fifth gear, 3.50 gears and street driving.

Thanks for the help guys,

Killer

Killer:

Just my .02 cents,go with the 600 double pumper, I have a 350 hp 351-W and have run at least five different carbs on it in the last 9 years, the best one is on it now and will stay on it for a long, long time,it is a 20+ year old Holley 600 dp that a guy was throwing away and gave to me,all I ever did was put a carb kit in it and re-jet it......Best perfomance (track tested, the stopwatch and timimg lights do not lie) and best gas mileage to boot............

Without a doubt, the 600cfm holley DP. As far as the electric choke goes, i really don't think its necessary. We ended up removing the choke from our holley 650 DP before switching a proform body. You just have to keep blipping the throttle for a while until it warms up some. They are simple to set up, and the performance is great for the price.

I wanted to tell everyone thank you for your recommendations. I ordered a 4150 Holley #4776s Double Pumper 600 cfm with an electric choke kit, clear sight plugs and Morsco 1:1 sliplink (special thanks to Bill S. for this idea because I have no idea what it does but, it only cost $8.00!). With a K & N #3040 X-Stream 14" x 3" Filter and 1.25 drop base.

After I get it installed, I will post how it is. I appreciate everyone's help!
