1965 Shelby GT350R Engine

Hey Everyone, I have a 66 mustang fastback that I'm slowly building into an exact 65 Shelby gt350 r model clone and I had a few questions.

Does anyone know the exact specs for the 65 gt350 r model 289 engine? I want to build an engine as close to original as possible.

Anyone with an R model 289 built, any major problems with this setup on the street?

Is the 289 hipo used in the r model's the same as was used in 289 competition cobra's? If so, this could aid in my search for 289 engine info.
