Default 347 Head Recommendation

I have been running a 347 with 302 heads for about 2 years. The heads have been ported and refitted with 194 intake and 160 exhaust. My local engine builder said those heads just do not flow well no matter what you do to them. He stated the intake valve is too close to the side wall to get very good flow. Anyway, Im looking to upgrade and need an aluminum or iron head that is identical in size and header bolt hole configuration. Anybody got any recommendations for a new head that will flow better and/or intake valve size better than a 1.94? Right now I'm running a 600 CFM vacuume secondary Holley which I have heard is fine for the set up I have but I want more power on the upper end without loosing all this great torque on the bottom. My cam is set up is Comp Extreme Energy 274 with .520 intake lift on flat tappit roller rockers, and all sucking through an Edilbrok performer.
