New 427 From Ford

Saw Ford has a new 427 crate engine coming out not to many details in their online catalog http://www.fordracingparts.com/download/catalogs.asp. What does everyone else think of this?

The listing in the 'pushrod crate engines and short blocks' section (p18) doesn't give away much - just the displacement, heads, bore & stroke...

However I noticed with interes that right next to that listing was a 331 Boss block rated at 500hp(!) - 3.1 x 4.125 running a flat tappet cam - funky

On page 104, it shows a picture and comments that it's based on a 351 Windsor platform, horsepower specs coming soon on their website.

I was thinking that if they can get 500hp from a 331cid that they could easily get 600hp out of the 427cid.
