A very long time, but it was well thought out and reasoned well.

Now about that T&L Engines... Major derailment.

ERA Chas 08-27-2009 07:31 AM

Actually I think your post is a candidate for "best outburst of the year." I'm not sure why I wrote that you were "wound a little tight," hopefully you won't hold that against me.;)

ERA Chas 08-27-2009 08:01 AM

Toushee. :LOL:Let's leave Mike's post alone now.

Did somebody say Tushy??!

sdfletch 08-27-2009 11:59 AM

I'm with Chas. Please stand down from this nonsense. Thanks for your help in this matter.

cal.cheesehead 08-27-2009 01:53 PM

Mike, I went through the same process you went through a year ago. Info from forums and talking with car guys at shows and events are great help. I went with a local bulder here in So Cal. The peace of mind that I knew the folks that worked on it and stood behind it was what drove my decision. I was also there when they fired it up and dyno'd the motor. That was a gas!
Good luck..

How did T&L get off so easy on this one? I've got stories about them as well... but you can easily find the nightmares suffered by others at their hands with a google search, and it makes our experience pale in comparison.

Caprimaniac 08-28-2009 12:04 PM

I'm glad I'm building my own engines...

In that way I know who to blame!

Yes I very much happy to read this article, i never read so details article ever, thank you for posting Since your admitted penchant for daily diversion is to instigate, irritate, illustrate and propagate all things ERA and expound expertise on EVERYTHING including the human psyche, I will reply to the chirps from your cricket legs rubbing together

Chas, I think I've found your soul-mate....:p

ERA Chas 09-10-2009 04:14 PM

Nice work Pat. Good to see you scan older threads for a target of opportunity to poke an eye out and bash somebody. Adding Jasmin to your FF bash watch list?

Anything to get a rise out huh? Those two roll bars are a more eloquent statement than anything you ever wrote.

Out of courtesy, I'll let you have the last word.;)

This thread was buried for about 9 days and someone new to the Forum digs it up to give you a piece of their mind? Seems strange to me.
