Default Cobra girl looking for Cobra guy

Now that I have your attention! The body just went on but I need to have the doors, hood and trunk fitted. The front and rear lights and bumpers need to be set in place and then I think it's down to sanding so that it can be painted. After paint I'll be ready to set in the carpet and dash. I still have to decide on seats. How long does it take to attach the body parts?

I don't know where you are at in California, but there are some places around here that will do the fitting and do it well and for a reasonable price. A couple will even let you do it as they just help guide you through it and that costs you almost nothing. So you should be able to find someone close to you that can help out. Best of luck. Hope to see pictures soon.

Ron

Yes, it really depends on the Kit MFG. Mine came fitted but I had to disassemble everything for paint & reassemble post paint. Give us a little more info & I'm sure you'll get an experienced answer here

Default update on streetbeast

I've had several other posts is why I wasn't repeating the details. I now have the body on but the doors are a real problem. I don't recommend a streetbeast to anyone in the market for a kit. The door hinges weigh a ton! I hope to have all the body panels fitted by the end of the week. I live in Murrieta which is by Temecule for any of you wine drinkers. This car has been a headache but I'm excited to get it on the road. Where do you guys usually meet in Southern California????? Are you doing anything together before hot August Nights in Reno??? Is anyone going to Reno in a group?

Hey Cobra Girl,

Why don't you post a few pictures of your progress and I bet if you have any questions about your f-n-f (fit and finish) you will have plenty of help.
