club cobra loading problem
why is it when i load club cobra using either google chrome or firefox for the first time the page comes up for a split second then i get a blank white screen. i can reload and it will come up. if i have a window open with cc i can open another window no problem. never fails. this is the only website that does this.

You can try to close and re-launch your chrome browser which will most likely install any browser updates that are needed. If that doesn't work, perhaps its a server latency issue with the cobra site? But im not sure

So, after one page refresh, everything works fine from then on?

I'm using IE9, same issue as the others except the page won't load properly until the third attempt, then everything is as normal. Same scenerio on all three of my computers.

don[t know if you would call it a refresh. i type a c in the header line and a list of stuff comes up and i click on the club cobra link. if i do a search and click on club cobra it comes up fine. prior to this i noticed the 'back' button would require a double click to actually go back, all on this web site btw.

i took the avg 'do not track' off and it loaded fine, turned it back on and it still loads fine. go figure. google, facebook and and twitter are tracking, maybe it doesn't like that. it still happens if i close the browser and reopen., both google and firefox.

The problem appears to be fixed.

Same here. If this site were to ever have a bad crash, where do we meet up for some communication. Can we come up with an alternative site just to get together and advise everyone what is going on. How about FFcars.com in the ALL COBRA TALK section. we can make this a sticky. Just a thought. Cop's gotta fall back on something :)

I also experience the sign in twice issue. Also, for a number of months, the site sometimes won't load at all and I get a no response message or it just hangs and I click on another site. Sometimes when in the site, it becomes non-responsive. In both cases, it usually clears up after anywhere from a couple minutes to 10 minutes.

Kevin

I solved the problem on my end. I had been accessing this site from a link on "my favorites" page and that's where the problem was. I deleted that link and replaced it with a new link to the forum home page and everything works first time now. Some how, my first link must have gotten corrupted.
