Updated list adding a couple of manufacturers (see first post).
I was thinking about adding some information to the list. The items that I would think would help the average newbie would be:
1) Round or rectangular frame?
2) IRS or solid rear?
3) Aluminum or fiberglass body?
4) Is a donor car required?
5) Basic dimensions regarding distance of seat to pedals (etc) like the layout shown on the ERA website ( http://erareplicas.com/427/faqs.htm#large)
