Jim, run down to Tognottis and pick one up. About 8.95 and actually fits it. I replaced both my spf shifter boots with it.

I have one on order from FL; according to the tracking info, it should be here before... 2010. If it gives me any trouble I'll look at a generic.

I'd make a leather one but I don't care for the look in this car.

I tried a Tognotti's generic first. It did the same thing. That's why I sprang for the forty two dollar Superformance unit.

Thanks for the advice guys, I'll try both recommended fixes. If all else fails ... well, I like the smell of leather anyway.
