Me?...older now...turned 60 freekin' years old this past summer. Pains everywhere, pinched nerves, IV viagra drip...I got it all. Still drivin' and drinkin' hard...not necessarily together any more... I still got it...just can't remember where I left it.... I used to have CRS...now it's progressed to a full blown case of CRAFT....sad, it is... I look at myself in the mirror and think...inside this tired, old, fat body is a 23 year-old asking..."Wow...Dude...what the f'ck happened....?"

Damn....work sucks... keeps gettin' in the way of things....maybe time to retire soon.

Hey man...what's shakin'...? Nice to hear from you again...! I'm still sorting out the Texas Cobra meeting in March...or Daytona in February. We're working to put together a little group of ne'er-do-well race fans to go watch the fastest track on the circuit...maybe relieve Floridians of their obligation to stock enough Grey Gooose to keep all our moving parts lubricated...eat some seafood...tell a few Boudreaux and Thibedeux jokes...renew some old friendships. They say it's not all about the cars...it's about the PEOPLE, y'know...?

We're thinkin' arrive on a Friday PM...depart on Monday AM...maybe Sunday PM...I dunno...hotels, rent-a-cars...y'know, the usual...

Hey Billster...how ya gettin' along?

Nope...I haven't really been posting anywhere for a while now. Just got tired of spending so much time on the computer both at the office and at home. I'm up to my fenders in stuff both at the office and at home, and frankly, I just got sick and tired of all the bickering and back-n-forth crap that so-and-so's car or motorcycle was better than all the others...and so-and-so knew more about everything than anyone else did...and what did anyone else know...and how could you possibly know more about this then so-and-so...and no matter what you may have found to work, been easy to install, and reasonably priced, your solution to any problem wasn't as good as so-and-so...

...and so on, and so on, and so on...ad nauseum.

Funny thing is that all the bulletin boards and all chat rooms had started to sound like that. It got to be where I dreaded answering someone's - anyone's - question with a simple, honest answer that I knew to be true since I had first hand experience with the same issue because that meant nothing, because one or two individuals would jump on there and brow beat you to death over some issue. "The Hell with it all" I said one day...and I just stopped reading, posting, and getting involved. Life's to short to go around with that kind of thinking, and I decided I just didn't need it anymore.

I'll stick my toe in every now and then, but I like kind of sitting back and letting all the bickering blow over me, while I just jump in my pretty-much-trouble-free 10-year-old SPF and run off and leave everyone in the dust and rubber smoke. Seems to work for me... :LOL:
