Default High beam switch

Anybody reccomend how to test the switch without pulling the whole assembly off? Replaced the relay but I think my stalk mounted dimmer switch went south. Everything else seems fine, I even switched over the 2 wires on the relay which gives either permenant lows or permenant highs. I'm stumped.

High/low switch on my car starting misbehaving. Removed it, cleaned the contacts and bent the contacts a little to maintain proper engagement. Needed to remove the wheel to get to the switch, not difficult to do.

Are you telling me the stalk will separate and allow you access to the switch itself or can you just lever the rocker out? Did it go back together OK?
Frankly, I not opposed to a replacement but, what the hey, I'm not above a little tinkering. Might catch a break.

The rocker can be popped out, be careful not to loose the spring. Make sure the turn signal canceling works fine before you put the wheel back on. I rotated the lever to the left side of the wheel when reinstalled. I prefer it on the left versus right.
