Superformance Key Replacement
Unfortunately I lost one set of keys to my MKIII. Any idea where I can find replacement blanks?

Here is more info:
Fuel Cap Replacement Key
The blank that will most likely work is referred to as a "Trailer Blank" which is a generic term for a series of keys I'm told.
I came across a key manufactured by "ilco" their number "1617 Fig#1" that worked for me - without even cutting it. But I had it cut and it works fine.
Glove Box
The local locksmith was able to guy pick the Glove box lock, He was able to reset the tumblers so I could use the existing ignition key for it as well.

I contacted the Superformance dealer in Tampa. He had all the blanks. If that helps at all.

Post what you find - most key makers for cars have the same problems as autoparts stores, they want to look it up by year and make.

Hi there,
I went to my local small-town locksmith and he had the blanks for each of the keys. So I suspect most do or can get.

Jeff,
Were they for the Coupe? If you have the blank mfr and number and they are different than what I posted, please send me the info for my records.

Sorry for the delayed response.
The keys for my SPF roadster were each available at my local locksmith
