What radiator is in very early cars?
If anyone knows what radiator was used in the very early Superformance Cobras, I'd appreciate the info.
Thanks....Bill

Bill, you are not forgotten... I'm working on finding some information for you. Your radiator is probably originally from another car, and I would guess the mounting may also be unique to your early chassis. My notes say that there was a change in radiators somewhere around chassis #50 or so. Can you have yours re-cored locally if you are having issues?

Yes that's correct but he's talking about a Superformance, not an early original Cobra.

Is is a Ford/Mopar style radiator with the top right, bottom left tubes. It is a crossflow style copper/brass. It measures 25-1/2" x 18" x 3-1/2". Width could maybe squeak out to 26, height could go to about 19-1/2". It looks like a newer SPF rad would fit. Anyone bought one recently and have a $ idea??

Thanks guys, I appreciate the help.
I had a small leak at the outlet to the water pump. Given time pressure before shipping to Colorado (it goes Monday, Nick!!!) I put in a bottle of Bar's Leaks and it seems to have done the trick for now.
If that holds for the week in CO, replacement is probably going to be a winter project for me to "help" Nick with.
