SunDude and his Cobra pose for a professional photoshoot
Yesterday I hooked up with my friend John Wenzel and his assistant Jeff Green for a photoshoot with my Superformance Cobra.
This is my first "modelling" experience, and I must say it was lots of fun. John and Jeff were very relaxed, worked well together, and knew what they were trying to achieve. And at no time did anyone try to grab my @ss -- LOL. John has given me permission to hotlink his photoshoot of my car, so I'll post them as they become available. For now, it's just the one below. Please be sure to check out John's website and contact him if you're interested in having your car professionally photographed too. He's located in the Ottawa/National Capital Region. j j W e n z e l i M a g e s https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3858/...341dfc88_h.jpg |
Ask you friend to 'Shop out the edges of the clear mask - like he did on the headlights an sunspots. Some reflected light on the body side would help if he's going to shoot early afternoon direct sunlight. The parking grid and dark asphalt doesn't help your color 'pop'.

Looks excellent SunDude. Pay no mind to the critics, PCs render images differently so any input from them is based on how their PC shows the photos. If you like 'em then that's all that matters. The contrast is awesome on my PC, it's obvious John Wenzel is a professional and knows what he is doing.

John's first photo (above) was meant as a teaser, so he'll be doing some more refinements on future pics.
Here's another photo, from John's assistant Jeff. https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.n...06058029_o.jpg |

If I wanted to say that PC's affect his outcome, I would have. I'm trying to help OP get better result for his $$ with professional advice. You have any professional photography published in last ten years? Then don't talk behind the back of those that do-your MO. Your valuable input has nothing to do with the basic flaws in this shot. How the Mods let you live here I'll never know-but a LOT of us are sick of your crap. I'm done so your Master Baiting will go unanswered. No smiley face. |
Well I do give the phtog some leeway for the site he picked---after all the car is covered with bugs and several bent radiator fins

Respectfully Dude,
Downsize your pics to 800 x 600-bigger is not making them better. Running pic and text off the screen is a PIA. |
Horrible!!! why lie. All i saw was yellow lines in the parking lot and amateur distances. get on cobra country and look at curts photo tips all 20 some pages.

Wow. What a bunch of nasty comments. Must be your "time of the month."
|
It's too bad, you offer to share some photos and a couple of dickheads have to spoil it.
Someone needs to take out the garbage. _ |
Dude-Can you tell the difference between nasty comments (yes you got some) and constructive criticism?
If you only expected 'atta boy!', you don't always get that when you show your ass unsolicited on the web. Read more carefully and don't paint everything with the same brush. At least you got a fanboy to throw gas on your fire. It's his specialty. |
Thought... Put some smokin HOT (naked) chick in the picture.
What car? Problem solved. |
(sorry re post.. I don't know why .. .but this site 'stick's and Hit the ENTER button too many times)
|
Nice car... :3DSMILE:
With all the talk of your a$$, I'm not keen to click on the links %/ Enjoy... and thanks for sharing. |

SunDude,
I thought long and hard before I decided to make my first actual post (other than me posting that I was looking for an ERA Street Cobra). I must say, I am a little disappointed in the comments you got when you attempted to share pics of your car. I just bought SP00536 from Hillbank a little over a week ago. It is almost identical to your car, except I think my wheels are different. Thanks to the reception your pic got, I have decided to keep my pics and further comments off this forum. You have a great looking car. I thought the pics were "honest", clear bra and all. Tell your friend I said so. Sean |
So little ole me, one person is negative and it sways someone from posting. Geez sorry for my horrible comments. Pics look great, I like the elevation on the first shot.

SunDude,
My old SPF was the same color, and it was a b*tch to photo. In pictures, the blue would 'hide' and 'pop' just like your pic. |
The pictures look great and the "larger" the pixels the better chances you'll have to blow it up without loss of quality to throw it in your basement or garage ;)
Good stuff and we're having great weather down here in Canada lately ;) Happy riding brother!! ENJOY! |
