He all,
Wanted to add a few update photo's of Armrer's car. New fresh air vents, restored Galaxie clock and glove box door latch.
Also my personal favorite... our second generation windshield sprayer button switch!

Didn't take long for you to get those vents installed!

Armrer 03-05-2015 09:01 AM

True, but more time consuming than I thought!

The passenger side air regulator was a pain in the a$#!@. Hooking up the cable to the regulator arm was tricky, as I had to do it upside down, and with a mirror because it wasn't in the open, but behind the regulator.

That, and CAREFULLY cutting 6 big holes in the car made me sweat a LOT. Turned out, though :)

The workmanship and detail on this car is a sight to behold. Congrats Jeff.
The fresh air kit is now available from your dealer.
Ross

THANKS, Larry for posting the updated pics!

Guys, I have a silver/grey painted set of wire wheels coming, which I'll mount up to period Blockley 205-70VR15 blackwalls. I would love to get everyone's opinion of those vs the chrome wire wheels and Firestone whitewalls that are on the car right now. We'll post pix when those are on the car for all ya'll's comments :)

Thanks!

Armrer 03-05-2015 09:17 AM

Thanks, Ross as always for your comments!

Ross is correct, SPF has a fresh air kit available now that is very similar to what I installed, but is actually easier to get in the car and hook up (after the car was built).

I have seen pictures of the kit factory-installed in new MKIIs, and it's complete :)

Awesome car!
Hope it shows at SAAC40

Armrer 03-05-2015 07:01 PM

Jeff,

Thank you, Sir! when/where is the event?

Buzz 03-06-2015 05:38 AM

 Wow - that is one stunningly beautiful car! Congratulations on a fantastic build.

Armrer 03-06-2015 03:50 PM

Thank you, Buzz!

However, the most credit goes to the passion of Ross Henry,
otherwise this car wouldn't exist. His enthusiasm, drive and sense of detail are a HUGE foundation to this product. Also to SPF for producing this car and Hillbank for the excellent customer service after the fact..special thanks to Ashton.

And also to Club Cobra. Without that, I wouldn't have met great people here like Larry (LMH), who educated me on the finer points and would drop everything to show me the myriad of cherry OE parts he's collected. Just reading Dan Case's posts brought my IQ up 10 points. This place is priceless.

:):):)

I remember when my car was that clean......
