Trunk floor plate replacement
Hello,
Have any of you replaced the access hatch in the trunk with something more substantial?
The existing cover is made of kydex I believe. It's starting to warp between the screw holes. You can use heat to flatten it out (i.e. kydex), but it will warp again after a while.
I was thinking of aluminum plate, plexiglass, or some other material to replace it. Heck, even thin high quality plywood would probably work fine.
Has anyone made their own replacement hatch plate?
