Mmmm...This is contrary to what I've been told, and seen on cars from assemblers like HRE, Snakepit, and his son Dennis' shop. I was told safety-wire to prevent loosening with a bit of slack, and check before every ride. Evidence of tightening requires a whack to the rear and re-wiring.
