Steering rack help?

I'm in the process of re-assembling my SPF. Upon inspection of the steering rack I noted one bad tie rod (bent)

and the pinion gear is pitted and no good. I can see that it is a VW/Audi part and was wondering if anyone knows what year / model V-dub it's from? Maybe I can find one local this way? I know some folks have swapped their rack for a KP power rack and may have used one to sell? I'm in a hurry because I never get time off of work and was hoping to take advantage of the coming holiday to get the car together.
