What is transmission fluid capacity for Tremec 5MT?

What is transmission fluid capacity for Tremec 5MT?

I've been reading through my SPF owners manual and came across the original owner's notation re: transmission fluid capacity. The tranny is a Tremec TR-3550 or TKO (I'm not 100% sure yet). His notes call for 21 quarts of ATF Dexron Mercon III. 21 quarts!! Could this be correct?
