Default A/C in an SPF

I used to chuckle at the thought of installing A/C in a Cobra, but since moving to Florida the idea is making a lot more sense to me. My feet are uncomfortably hot on long drives and I'm thinking some nice cool air blowing on my toes is in order.

Are there any SPF owners out there who have experience installing/running with either of the units sold by Vintage Air or Classic Auto Air? Opinions of the products, the companies and their customer service would be much appreciated.

Hey Chuck,

I'm not sure if you came across this thread regarding the installation of AC on an SPF.

AirCondtion for MKIII

You might want to contact Mitch at Vintage Upgrades as he could probably point you in the right direction.

I put it in my last cobra and have to say it was useless in FL. My advice is do not do it, its a waste of money. Here in FL, you will never feel the A/C as making any difference unless you have the top on and the side curtains in, even then it was weak at best.
