Having never met Morris personally, I somehow have a vision of him fitting in just fine with Donnie, Cale, and Richard at the 1979 Daytona 500.

I do remember Jack B. & Mike Guffey & Jack Pigg.....we all raced at Blackhawk, IRP and Road America......then had a great time....big smiles on our faces afterward.....

Thanks for reminding me.....it was a fun time to be racing....

Even though I’m from Spartanburg S.C.....I only wish I could have had that experience....I will say that every time I raced down south....and I was living in Illinois at the time.....when I beat the Southern guy’s....they didn’t like it when a northern guy did that......but when they found out where I was from.....they accepted me like their own.....an we had great races and lot’s of fun...

I just bought CSX 6xxx, after reading this thread I will completely go through every nut and bolt in the drive train. I will probably asking for help here, as I thought I was pretty good with cars but after reading this thread apperantly Im not... I have owned ERA 626 for 16 years with zero issues, hats off to ERA.
1985 CCX and CompClassics like this.
