I never was a big fan of the 'egg crate' grill on the 289 street cars. :D

Ron61 11-26-2006 01:14 PM

Ernie,

I really never was a big fan of any of the grills they tried. One guy here that owns a sheet metal business tried every type of grill he could come up with and wound up with none as he thought it looked better.

Just testing as I am having trouble getting posts to go in this morning.

Ron

Ok, now this is confusing. I can post on all other sites with no problem and some go in ok here and others won't. I have tried both computers with the same results.

what happens when you try?...

Ron61 12-04-2006 09:14 AM

Ron,

I just tried to send you an e-mail explaining the problem by going through the club and it did the same thing. I am now on a different computer. Some posts will junp right in when I hiot the submit button, but most are taking forever and then I get a blank page that says Done down at the bottom. I have to hit the back button and that shows my post ready to submit. I then go to whichever Forum I am in and the post will be in the thread. That was why I am using the test area so I can delete the posts after while and not use them to just run up a post count.

Edit: Ok now this one posted like it should.

It is not your system(s)

Quick Reply works instantly though... hmmm

computerworks 12-04-2006 09:22 AM

Post Reply is the one that was taking l-o-n-g-e-r...now it worked quickly.

Ron61 12-04-2006 09:23 AM

Ron,

I just tried a post in the lounge and got the same slow stuff and the blank page. Yet when I went back and went to the forum, then the thread the post was in. As I said I have tried both computers, cleaned all files, and both work just fine on all of the other sites. T his is something that I have never ran into here and it started afted I had made several posts this morning and seem to come and go. Maybe one post will go right in and then next few won't. Doesn't seem to have anything to do with which forum or thread I am as it happens here in the test Forum too.

Ron
