I'm still trying to figure this out. All the settings look ok in the software and permissions seem ok in the directory....odd though that I would be able to do it and some can't....which points to a setting...CIRCLES...I'm going in them. :JEKYLHYDE

I am going to try another small JPG this morning. It is strange that some people have no trouble with any type file seemingly, others can post GIFs but not JPGs, and I can't get it to take any. But it isn't any big thing so don't worry about it. I can skip using the small pictures. Mary Tyler Moore (Small).JPG: Upload of file failed. Nope still can't do it. This was a 25KB JPG picture. I was able to upload a JPG yesterday morning and tested another one this morning without any problems. Strange.
Update: Ron just clarified that the issue is with attachments, not uploads to the gallery. My mistake. |

This attachment thing has been going on for quite a while. Some people have no trouble at all and others can't attach any type of picture, while others may be able to attach a GIF and not a JPG. Before Warren passed away he tried it and he couldn't attach any type. Once in about every 20 tries I may get a JPG to attach, but never a GIF or any other extension listed in the attachment list. Testing to see why the Insert at the right isn't putting the pictures in the post. http://www.clubcobra.com/photopost/d.../7_7-22-09.JPG Ok, it will put the thumb linked to the gallery in but the medium linked to the gallery won't show. Just get a small box with red x. And I have never posted the one I am trying to put in as a medium. This used to work for me as I have posted as manay as 3 mediums in a post using this method. Ron |
